When you first start out to learn how to build a website, you need to understand the basics of website creation. You can learn these basics for free, or by taking small bites from free online tutorials and resources. Once you have a good foundation of skills, then it will be time to upgrade your knowledge to more advanced areas.

Step Two: Conduct some visual research. Create an outline on your tabletop about how you would like your homepage or blog page laid out and select the elements that will make it happen. The first thing you need to know about when it comes to how to build a website is about navigation. You should be able to tell visually that part of your site corresponds to which part of your overall website design, and you should be able to choose between buttons, menus, sidebars, footers, and any other element you may need to organize things.

Step Three: Design your sidebar. Most people don’t know how to build a website, because they are used to seeing sites arranged in a sidebar. The sidebar is what appears when someone visits your site through your home page or link. It is usually located in the upper left corner of your screen, with options panel and menu options at the left bottom. This is where you can control everything from the text size to the color scheme. This area also contains an ‘about’ and other links that can help your visitors understand who you are.
To design your sidebar, first create a new paragraph on your blog or website and then add new paragraphs below it, beneath your paragraphs, and above your previous paragraph. For example, if you have three paragraphs on your sidebar, you can add two more on the left and right. These paragraphs should link to your About Me section, a Bio section, and your About Me link, while creating a new theme.
Step Four: Build a website around your existing blog posts. Your next step is to add an About Me link below each blog page. This way, your reader will know that a visit to your site means something different. If you don’t already have an online store, create one now, and build your website around the content of your online store. Your pages should always link to your main site, so that people will know they can also buy products from you as well.
Step Five: Build a website hosting package around one of your web host’s services, such as Bluehost, HostGator, or VPS Hosting. You should search for packages that include free domain names, MySQL, PHP, or HTML templates. Also look for free web hosting and unlimited MySQL databases. If you’re not sure which company to choose, go with Bluehost or VPS Hosting since they’re the most popular and they’re also the cheapest.
Finally, create a Blog Post to replace any standard blog post. To do this, open a WordPress blog and go under settings, where you’ll set up the Blog section. Add your new blog posts in your text box and save them. Now, whenever someone makes a comment on one of your blog posts, a link in the footer of the post will take them straight to your store or to your payment processor.
