Plus, when you have your own domain name you won’t have to be confused with other sites on the Internet. Visitors can’t spell your site correctly. If they have to guess at what your site is about you’re losing potential customers. Having your own domain name makes things easier for visitors.
You should also make sure that your website is search engine friendly. Some people try to fool people into thinking that their site is search engine optimized when it’s not. This is the worst thing that you can do because search engines will rank your site higher or lower based on that. You have to make sure that people can easily find you. This means that you should have your meta tags in the right places and that you have keywords in them.

If they’d just hire someone to build their site for them they would save a lot of time and money.
